FAQ

Is there a travel fee?

A travel fee will be calculated if your location is more than 30 miles from my location on the day of the session. This travel fee will be discussed prior to the day of the photoshoot. $0.50/mile beyond the included 30 miles.

Web resolution versus high resolution?

Web resolution files are smaller image files great for sharing on social media! These are not suitable for personal printing but you have the option to purchase prints through my photo lab. High resolution files are higher quality allowing for personal printing and more versatility.

What is the cost of a high resolution file?

You can purchase high resolution files, to give you personal printing rights & a higher quality image, for $100 per image. If purchasing more than 4 high resolution images, the rate will be $50 per image.

How do I order prints?

High resolution files give you the flexibility to print at a lab or store of your choosing or you can order from my preferred lab right from your gallery!

How should I prepare for the session?

Clean your horse to the best of your ability. Prepare like you were going to a show. Bathe if possible, polish hooves, keep a rag on hand to spot clean and clean your bridle or halter. Only so much can be done in photoshop and if extensive editing is needed to get out that dirt stain or add sparkle to the coat & hooves, an additional editing fee may be assessed.

What do I need to bring to the session?

Other than you and your horse, have treats on hand to help encourage the horse to put it's ears up. I may or may not have an assistant with me to assist with ears so having an extra, willing person on-hand is ideal. Payment is also due the day of the session so if you have not paid online, payment by check or cash will need to be provided at the time of session.

What should I wear?

Whatever you feel most comfortable in, ultimately. If you would like suggestions on what might look best with your horse, don't hesitate to ask!
